Is it good to teach higher level math for kindergarteners?

No I believe we are putting too much stress on young children, they need to be allowed time to grow and adjust and kindergarten is where they should be doing this. Kindergarten should be a year of adjusting to school and school rules. It is a time for social growth and learning basics.

If a child readily understands basic math concepts, I see no problem in teaching them higher level math.

Yes, it's always good to teach higher level math for kindergarteners as long as they have mastered the basics to graduate to the next level comfortably. Building a stronger foundation at an early age will not only strengthen their skills, but also develop interest in the subject in the future.

If your child is interested in a higher level of math on their own then they should be allowed to explore it.
